I offer private in-home guitar, drum, piano and ukulele lessons (soprano/concert/tenor) throughout the Montgomery County, PA area. It's not an exaggeration to say one can spend well over an hour of their day driving to and from a music store while also waiting for a lesson to finish. Think of the time you'll save having a teacher come to you! I offer competitive rates and will work with your schedule to find a suitable time for both teacher and student.
With recent developments regarding Covid protocols, I now offer virtual guitar and ukulele lessons (soprano/concert/tenor) as well via Skype. While this of course means geographical location is no longer an issue, it also allows for a more affordable and sometimes convenient lesson option. Just bring your laptop or tablet with you and have a lesson anywhere! Please see my rates below and feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.

Matt creates a friendly and fun atmosphere for guitar lessons. He builds upon the student’s interest which motivates the learning technique. Over the past 2.5 years, my daughter’s interest has grown. She picks up the guitar daily (on her own). We are fortunate to have found an instructor that has the skills and enthusiasm to feed her passion for music and learning. - Hollie L. (Skippack)
Our son has been learning guitar from Matt for around five years now. Matt’s talent, knowledge, patience and ability to keep our son engaged weekly prompted us to sign our daughter up for ukulele lessons with him as well. In addition to being an amazing musician, Matt has a fantastic way of meeting our kids right where they are mentally and connecting with them throughout their lessons. This has been such an asset over the course of this past year when our lessons went virtual. Our children have made great progress both virtually and in person and Matt has made every effort to communicate with us about lessons and accommodate our needs for scheduling. We have recommended Matt to many friends who have nothing but great things to say about him as well. We feel lucky to know him and have our children learn from him. - Jessica M. (Fort Washington)
Matt has been my son's guitar teacher for a few years now and does an excellent job. He is an outstanding teacher that really knows how to relate to my son. My son has gained a greater appreciation for, and love of music. He is excited every week to learn new techniques and songs, and to practice them. Matt's guidance has not only made my son a better musician it has helped build his overall confidence. I HIGHLY recommend Matt as a teacher to any prospective student and could not be happier with my son's progress. - Jim D. (Malvern)
Matt has been teaching guitar lessons to our two daughters for many years. Our oldest took lessons and developed her love of playing the guitar with Matt’s guidance and passion for music. Our youngest daughter continues to work with Matt weekly. His patience, expertise, kindness and love of teaching students is seen in each and every lesson. It is amazing to see the amount of growth both of our daughters have shown under his instruction. The guitar skills they've developed and fondness of music will surely last throughout their lives!! - Margaret M. (Abington)
